Glass tube and float flowmeter

Flowmeters fom the NG – LG series are variable area flowmeters with easy to read scales, made of interchangeable components accomodating a large range of liquid or gas flows. Standard tubes are made of borosilicated glass and scales are calibrated over a 100 mm scale for the NG series and 30 mm for the LG series.

Flow alarm for glass tube flowmeter

Floscan GIR flow alarms use an infra-red beam across the glass tube of a variable flowmeter. Passage of the float between the sensor arms is detected and a logic within the electronics determines whether the float is above or below the sensor position. The sensor is 12 VDC powered with a transistor switch output to drive external logic circuits.

Magnetically coupled flowmeter type GMT

All metal flowmeter for harsh service conditions

Platon GMT serie metal tube flowmeters are magnetically couple variable area flowmeters for liquids or gases. Requiring no external power they are robustly constructed for heavy duty with flanged connections up to 4’’ or threaded up to 2’’. Within the tapered flow tube, fluid flow lifts the metering element which contains a magnet. The external pointer follows the magnetic field and indicates flow against a clear 150° scale. Standard units are calibrated for air or water but scales can be produced to suit other fluids and process conditions.

Vampire - GMT flowmeter electronic version with LCD screen

The GMTX - Vampire is an electronic version of the standard GMT metal tube flowmeter where the mechanical pointer and scale is replaced with an LCD to give local meter and digital display of flow rate and total flow. The totally solid state indicator is either loop or mains powered with a 4-20mA output. High and low alarms are shown on the liquid crystal display panel and can be signalled to the plant control system.

The 454FT insertion thermal mass flowmeter raises the standard for mass flow measurement of air and industrial gases. The mass flow transmitters incorporated the rugged Kurz all welded thermal sensor having a miniature powerful ‘’in the head’’ microprocessor having a large back lighted LCD/keypad with easy to use set up and configuration menus. The mass flow tranmitter uses only two all welded RTD sensors to provide fast measurements of the velocity and process temperaure. The LCD/keypad can be rotated to provide a convenient orientation for all applications.

Pressure and temperature compensated flow measurement

The Torbar Mass Tribar is an insertion flowmeter comprising an integral valve manifold, a Pt100 temperature element and a multivariable flow transmitter. The Mass Tribar measures pressure, temperature and differential pressure directly from the Torbar and computes the compensated mass flow within the multivariable transmitter by automatically compensating for fluctuations in temperature and pressure. The Mass Tribar is ideally suited for the flow measurement of liquids, gases and steam and the totally integrated concept provides several direct advantages.

Automatic flow controller type Flostat MN

The Platon Flostat type MN is an automatic flow controller usually coupled to a Platon flowmeter type NG. This combination is called an FIC set. The Flostat accurately maintains a selected flowrate, as initially adjusted according to the displayed flow on the NG meter. This flow in held constant regardless of line pressure changes providing flow control and accuracy.
